For Entrepreneurs ~ Building a Business Website with Marketing & Micro-Manufacturing Tips
For Employees ~ Solutions to Environmental Problems, Greening your company
School student presentations are interactive ~ the elementary school children have opportunities to participate in bringing up "waste items" to the magic box and place them inside and then "abracadabra", they see what is made from tires, glass, plastic, newspaper, aluminum can tabs, etc. Many items are talked about in detail: how much waste we generate annually, what useful & durable products are made here in the USA out of our trash. Encourages children to view our waste as a valuable resource. Presenter walks barefoot on the tumbled glass mulch. Power-point presentations designed for each age group detail what the problems are, and what solutions are available today (videos available as well). Older children learn about the Pacific ocean gyre, an estimate 3.5 million tons of plastic and where it came from, and also more about manufacturing as a career choice, and what it means to truly "Close the Loop": 1. Recycle our waste, 2. Make something new out of it, 3. Buy recycled. Presenter is open for student questions during the entire presentation, or afterwards ~ teacher's preference.
The school children are the engineers, scientists & inventors of the future, and the earth is in their hands. We can teach them to care about our environment and help plant a seed that they have the potential to change the world, indeed every one of us does. This show not only educates the children on what creative ideas people are doing today, you will see their wheels turning on what they can do to make a difference in the world. Recycling success is not determined solely by the amount of materials collected but also by the amount processed and reused in new products and materials.
Our product offerings include:
Plastic Wood Post & Rail Fencing, Plastic Raised Garden Beds/Compost Bins, Rubber Mulch, Tiles & Pavers, Rubber Timbers, Glass Mulch, Glass Play Sand, Cocoa Shell Mulch, Promotional imprinted pencils made of rolled newspaper, and many more gift ideas. Free environmental E-Newsletter, The Loop.
We are working to increase consumer confidence, awareness and demand for recycled content products, help grow markets & educate consumers to view our waste as a valuable resource. Close the Loop is dedicate to effecting a positive force for social and environmental change within our community by promoting reuse & recycling, building the acceptance & use of alternative recycled materials, and holding community events such as a GIVE & TAKE DAY, and WEBSITE BUILDING workshops and "Magic of Recycling" for thousands of Monroe County children.

Client Testimonials
On behalf of my staff and children, I would like to thank you for the wonderful presentation you gave, at the Mountain Extension of the YMCA. The added participation, by the children, added a most welcome, personal touch. It is important to introduce children to the necessary steps we must all take, to preserve our environment. The service you provide will definitely enhance our community, our program and every person's concept on recycling.
- Maria, Child Care Service Director YMCA - PA
On behalf of the Recreation and Leisure Services Management Department we would like to thank you and Close the Loop for the great recycling items. The Girl Scouts that attended our Earth Day event enjoyed the stand that was set up with recycled items. They especially loved the egg drop on the shredded tire.
- Amy - PA
