This rubber can be used for horse arenas, landscaping & playgrounds (NOTE: No ASTM tests for this product just yet for shock absorbency; manufacturer states 99.9% steel-free, processed through multiple magnets).
Most beneficial aspect of the weathered gray rubber is its light color which will be less heat-absorbant, and its natural wood-look. The color runs through the rubber, it is NOT painted on the surface.

It drains well after a rain, which reduces mud, and does not attract insects or animals. It is less likely to compact than other loose-fill materials, and easy to install.
